A view from the other side of the Earth

We offer you, dear viewer, a sketch film. His heroes are four Tomsk students. They came to Siberia from Ethiopia, Ecuador, Kazakhstan and Indonesia. These dissimilar people are united by the fact that they chose Tomsk for education. What influenced their choice? How did they imagine Russia and how did real life adjust their expectations? How will Tomsk remain in their memory after completing their studies?

The film is part of the Tomsk project. A view from the other side of the Earth", implemented with the support of the M. Prokhorov Charitable Foundation within the framework of the competition "The New Role of Libraries in Education". The project was implemented by the Tomsk Regional Museum of Local Lore named after M.B. Shatilov and the National Research Tomsk Polytechnic Institute.
